Curtain up!

From March 15 through 17 in the Washington, DC, and the surrounding area there will be held the 3rd International Festival of Russian-Speaking Children and Youth Theaters of America.

For the third time the International Festival of Children and Youth Russian Theater opens its doors in the U.S. capital - Washington DC. Once again, teams from different states of America, as well as their friends and colleagues from Canada and Russia will meet at a round table and in the theater halls to show their best performances of the past year.

The festival will bring together the theater companies from the U.S., Canada and Russia in Washington, DC in March. All spectators are already looking forward to meeting with these groups, which will be a gift, both for the participants and for the fans of children`s theater. RULIST is an informational sponsor of the event.

This year, the opening ceremony of the festival will be held at Howard University - the oldest University of greater Washington, which is famous for its traditions and the quality of education since 1867, as well as its rich social and cultural life. We are very happy to be situated within such a respected theater department and institution, whose walls are permeated with the spirit of creation and creativity. That is why the theme of the opening of the 3rd Festival will be the Tales of Alexander Pushkin, which will help transport us all to an atmosphere of fairy-tales and celebration. As always, the Opening Ceremony will be conducted by the `Experiment` theater under the direction of Irina Rogozina.
